16itBit&Beyond returns on Friday November 20th at the Air Conditioned Supperclub in Venice. This month we have two incredible acts joining us and a long list of birthday celebrations to share.
EL PAPA CHANGO (El Circo) is coming all the way from San Francisco to join us behind the decks. We can't tell you how excited we are to have him with us in our humble little house. His unique style of Latin-inspired beats has been moving dance floors for years.
Opening up for him we have LUCKY MAMBO 7 (Dimelo! Records) "LIVE". Inspired by the multi-ethnic music-fusion of 1950s and 60s’ Spanish Harlem, Lucky 7 Mambo" features the haunting harmonies of the vibraphone, an unlikely instrument now, as much as it was in the 50s and 60s. This uniquely American-made style draws the best of the Cuban son, African-American jazz and Puerto Rican soul. "Lucky 7 Mambo" is inspired by old-school greats like Jimmy Sabater, Cheo Feliciano, and Joe Cuba.
And if that wasn't enough we will be celebrating the birthday's for Debi Mae West, Autumn Moss, Mr.Caparro and El Papa Chango.
