BETTER LISTENING SKILLS FOR BETTER D/s

(Off Tujunga, one block north of Van Owen)
North Hollywood, CA 91605
Enter in back of the building
ADMISSION: $5/each for members and affiliates
$10/each for non-members and guests
This event is open to the entire community, aged 18 and older.
Threshold membership is not necessary to attend.
BDSM is a highly intimate activity, and some people regard D/s as the most intimate form of BDSM. Given this intimacy, good communication is absolutely essential, and listening is an excellent “start here” point in establishing and maintaining this intimacy.
Unfortunately, our culture does not particularly value listening. Listening skills are not highly prized, and to listen is often to be seen as being put in a diminished position.
Jay Wiseman will present some tips and guidelines for improving one’s listening skills, then conduct some practice exercises. No matter which side of the D/s slash you’re on, you’ll come away better equipped to communicate effectively.

Suspend your disbelief (and your subbie) in the Main Room.
Find yourself laughing maniacally in our Heaven and Hell Room.
Or use the Medical Room for a grown up version of "Playing Doctor."
