Hello EVERYONE-------I just started working at a place in the Claremont Village, the Village Attic. It is located at 211 W. First Street (Across from the metro stop). We are going to be having a partaee this Friday, and I would LOVE to see you there. We have a very special guest, invited by me, to play there: he is Junor Francis, renowned reggae d.j.; he will get us all in a good mood and moving. It's going to be BYOB and snacks, and warm and fuzzies, because we are going to be partying outside under the stars and around a fire (there is a patio). This will be a very inclusive event. The place just opened, and I hope that burner-style creativity and attitude will infuse the spot and vibe. I want to open the spot to gatherings within this community, so if you have ideas let me know. Come check it out and you'll know what I mean. The place itself is decorated like 60's office/lounge, and we have some cool hats and vintage clothes. I'd really appreciate the support, and besides, it'll be fun, and a place to get to know one another. Junor's on from 8-11 (p.m.), so if the party is still rolling and it's not too cold, we can put on some dance music after that.
