Happy 2009! Even though we are all having serious economic issues, it is even more important to take care of our bodies, minds and souls. Start or continue your Bellydance Classes. You will feel better about yourself and have a great time doing it.

Beginning Bellydance -
MONDAYS - 8:00 - 9:00pm
THURSDAYS – 7:00 – 8:00pm
Adults & Teens - For students with little or no formal Bellydance instruction. Beginning technique, use of props (veils & cymbals only) & choreography. Advance to the next level for more of a challenge. Three months of formal Beginning Bellydance is highly recommended. Ages 13 and up. Beginning Classes do not perform. Great for Mother – Daughter-bonding time. Classes are small with lots of one on one attention.
***All classes are ongoing. Begin anytime. Contact Studio before coming to these classes.

Intermediate Bellydance -
MONDAYS - 7:00 - 8:00pm
Adults & Teens – American Cabaret, Turkish & Folk style technique, intermediate use of finger cymbals, veils and other props with choreography. Chance to perform (Optional). At least 3 months of formal Beginning instruction is highly recommended. Ages 13 and up only. Beaded Cabaret costume required.

Advanced Choreography and Troupe -
THURSDAYS - 8:00 - 9:00pm
Adults & Teens - This is a performance & choreography class. No technique is taught. One year of formal Bellydance training is required. Participants can perform with our Show Troupe (Kamar and Jewels of Fire). Extensive use of props including cymbals, drums, veils, circular veils, canes, daggers, swords, fans, veil fans and tambourines. Special costuming required. Ages 13 years and up only.
***Participants MUST be dedicated and regular in attendance.

• This is a Dance Academy, not Parks & Recreation. Classes are small & Classrooms are mirrored.
• Styles taught are: American Cabaret, Turkish, Arabic, Folk, Fusion & Fantasy.
• Cost: $56 a month via Auto-pay. Registration Fee also applies.

• Costuming workshop is offered in the Spring & is free to all of our students. $5 for non-students of Blanca Luz Academy.
