Hello friends,
I also need volunteers to help me set up the TekYurts from www.foldedhomes.com at the "One Earth, One Dream" green festival in Laguna Beach next week. There will be reps from the UN, UNESCO, Habitat for Humanity, and Green Society.
The TekYurts are the latest in sustainable design for disaster relief, refugee shelters, Burning Man...you get the picture.
You will be working with the CEO of Folded Homes on site at the Laguna Beach Festival Grounds (5 min from the beach), as well as a team of super cool peeps. This is a great way to get involved, network with the top people in the green movement, and learn about new technology in the field of sustainability.
We need 4-6 volunteers for next Wednesday, October 1st and Thursday October 2nd to build the yurts (you could volunteer for a full day, a few hours, whatever you can is much appreciated).
Don't worry, we will feed you, give you drinks, and take you out afterwards to celebrate!
