This weekend intensive is for Reiki practitioners at any level who want to learn how to collaborate in medical settings. Topics to be covered include:
* how to speak about Reiki in credible language that communicates effectively to both medical professionals and the public
* how and why Reiki treatment is being used in hospitals
* an overview of Reiki research
* medical culture and the professional standards you will be expected to meet
* the clinical skills needed to practice in these environments.
You will also be coached in writing your own introductory Reiki statement. You will leave this workshop able to self-evaluate your skills and experience, with suggestions how to continue honing your ability to work effectively in all settings, and having a support network of Reiki practitioners with diverse practices and shared values.

Pamela Miles is a Reiki master at the forefront of integrating Reiki into conventional medicine. She has created Reiki programs in NYC hospitals, taught at prominent medical schools, published peer-reviewed medical papers and popular articles, and is the author of REIKI: A Comprehensive Guide.
