This firm is seeking an Analyst to add to its team. This person will be focused on long/short equity investment strategies.
Qualifications:
1) The ideal candidate will have 3-7+ years of sell side equity research from a top tier investment bank covering...(one or any of the following) utilities, power, commodities, metals & mining, chemicals, railroads/transportation, etc.
2) Advanced knowledge of forensic accounting and financial modeling
3) Experience in fundamental securities analysis
4) Ability to work long hours/an intense schedule
5) Desire to live in Los Angeles for the long term
6) Track record of top tier academic and professional achievement
