Beautiful Cat free to a good home

I am trying to find a good loving home for one of my cats - Vyvyan - a long haired male black cat. He is very gentle and loving, and hides when company comes over. He will bond with his owners, but is not a social butterfly. He loves to be brushed and petted. He is 3 years old, is neutered, in excellent health, and has had all of his vaccinations. My husband has a mild allergy to cats, and this cat does not give off excessive dander despite his long hair.
So far, he has been an "indoor only" cat.

We have one issue with him - during this last year, besides using his litterbox, he has picked two other locations in our home where he likes to urinate. My husband never did want a cat, and it is his office that Vyvyan has chosen as a second litter box. I love this cat, but I do not have the time nor the desire to deal with this problem. I know that there are folks out there who may be able to break him of this habit, and truly enjoy this beautiful animal. My other choice is to put him outside, which I am resistant to doing because of his skittish nature. I also fear him going into the street and being hit by a car, or being attacked by one of the local feral cats.

He is currently confined to a bathroom, and is very lonely. It is breaking my heart to keep him there, as he loves cuddling on a lap.
