Sat Nam Lovely People!
I am embarking on helping facilitate my first community home. I have lived in community housing for the past three years, and now have an opportunity to run my own spot.
The house is located off Rose and Lincoln in Venice, on the beach side! It is really close to the new Whole Foods, there is a little park next to the house, 6 blocks from the beach, and with a wonderful backyard with an abundant kumquat tree.
There are three bedrooms up for rent and they run for $1000 individually or I am open to a room share at $500 each. This includes all utilities. First months rent, last months rent and a security deposit are due upon move in and a one month notification if you are moving. Move in date is May 1st, 2009.
There is a lovely kitchen, nice front room and spacious dining room.
A little about my hope for this space. These things are open for discussion, but it would be my prayer to the universe that some of these things come into manifestation.
1. I am a raw food (80%) vegan. I would really love to fill the house with vegans and vegitarians. This is not the right spot for big meat eaters!
2. We are an environmentally friendly home. Cleaning products, recycling, composting, etc. are all important here!
3. We have a lovely backyard and I want to turn this into an ediable landscape. Hopefully, you want to participate!
4. This is a TV free home!
5. Smoking is not allowed inside the house and please keep it far out in the yard, so the smoke doesn’t waft inside.
6. Drinking and Drugs are not banned, but this is not a part of the culture and lifestyle of the home.
7. Meditation, sacred spirtual music and a temple setting are welcome here!
8. I want the house mates to enjoy eachother, be low drama, and love coming home to their tribe.
9. I am very open to community gatherings- film screenings, dinner parties, drum circles, etc.
10. Please be responsible, clean up after yourself, pay your rent on time and be courteous to your roommates.
11. Animals open for discussion.
