The Situation:
My job has offered to relocate me to another office, so I'm looking for somebody to take over the rest of my lease. The place would be available by April 15.
The Apartment:
The apartment itself is 2 bedrooms plus a loft. The ceilings in the living room are extremely expansive (about 20 ft high.) This, the loft, kitchen, and dining areas would be common areas. Most the furniture in the living room is mine, so you will have room for your own furniture or belongings in the living room. There are two outdoor patios. One balcony that faces the street, and a rooftop deck for your sunbathing needs.
The Bedroom:
The bedroom is a good size. It's about 10 x 11 and you would have your a private bathroom inside the room. There is a big sliding closet, as well as an additional linen closet inside the bedroom. The bathroom is newly renovate by management and has sliding glass doors and new hardware.
The Building:
The building itself looks contemporary and houses about 12 units. It has a secured entry, coin-operated laundry with 4 machines, and you would have a secured, covered parking space.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is considered to be the Palms area. It's about 2 blocks away from downtown Culver city, right off the 10 freeway, and convenient to Westwood, Santa Monica, Venice and the Marina. I currently work in Beverly Hills, and it only takes me 15 minutes in the morning. You have 2 markets nearby, a plethora of restaurants, and Culver City's farmers market on Tuesdays :)
The Arrangement:
I have will have 6 remaining months of a 1 year lease. I can work with you regarding a security deposit, but I would prefer $1000. I'm willing to be flexible regarding the arrangement.
