We just moved into an amazing, incredibly spacious 3 bedroom craftsman HOUSE. We are looking for a responsible, gainfully employed, healthy, considerate, enlightened being to share and co-create our sanctuary.
The house is amazing! It has 3 large bedrooms, 1 & 1/2 bath, humongous living room separated from the large dining room by an incredible arch that is almost a full circle, separate office that we have turned into a sewing room, huge kitchen with a dishwasher and soon to be washer and dryer, hardwood floors throughout, huge windows - lots of light, front and back yards and porches, lemon and fig trees, all kinds of flowers and beautiful plants, cellar, attic, 3 car parking (tandem driveway - and there's ample street parking) AND we're pretty much on Venice and Lincoln so we're about a 5 min bike ride from the beach! The neighborhood is also lovely. We are on a quiet craftsman house studded street. This month we will be turning part of our back yard into a meditation space and garden. We can't wait to eat fresh fruits and veggies from our very own garden! We will also be nurturing the soil with our own compost.
We are two professional, creative women with two very cute cats. We prefer our cats to be the only pets in our house. We both have day jobs and occasionally party on the weekends. We don't mind having an occasional intimate fiesta or warm dinner gatherings, but this is not a party house. We love a clean and uncluttered home environment. By this we mean our surroundings AND our mental states. We try to bring as much peace and tranquility into our lives and home and avoid unnecessary drama. We are both pescetarians (the only meat we eat is fish) and would prefer a housemate with similar eating habits, but that is not a huge deal. We love to cook and it would be wonderful if you liked to cook as well and were health conscious. We both work in the music industry and are musicians ourselves. We like our beatz fat and juicy with a massive side of bass!! We both have music studios in our bedrooms and are known to bump it while creating ( we will be considerate of your bedtime and use headphones though). We are also both clothing designers and fire dancers. We are 420 friendly but there is no smoking in the house (esp. of tobacco!). We like nature, candles, crystals, meditation, dancing, yoga, art, earth consciousness and to be ridiculously silly.
The room for rent is $1025 per month + 1/3 utilities.
