I am (still) seeking a perfect new home on the eastside of Los Angeles. Here is a short list of what I seek in my housemates and environment.
1)My ideal home would be between 500-800 dollars a month, in a quiet, non-ghetto neighborhood on the eastside of town (or maybe the hills/topanga if it is perfect). My current neighborhood has a few too many stray bullets and rotting couches. I would love to live in Glendale, Eagle Rock or Los Feliz.
2) Our home would be tastefully furnished. I have some beautiful furniture already and enjoy decorating my space so it feels comfortable and somewhat spare.
2)Naturally tidy roommates without a lot of clutter. People who have a social and professional life outside of the home. People who like animals, books, art and healthy living. No constant television or video games (if any actually).
3)Preferably you are someone in your twenties so our lives are not vastly different from each other.
4) You are socially liberal but your brain is not falling out of your head and you do not smoke excessive pot.
5) Gender is somewhat unimportant though a straight man not be the best fit for a variety of reasons. Gay or lesbian peeps are fine and good.
6) You enjoy being quiet when you are home.
7) You have a sense of humor!!
About me: Quarterlife-aged girl + one chihuahua, graduate student and employed fulltime, participant in various burner type social things around town, artsy, writer, etc.
