We've got a sweet 3-bedroom, shared bathroom and kitchen house with awesome views and great flower+veggie gardens.(Well they could use some weeding right now but they are awesome.)
details:
During Dodger season we get to see the fireworks from our patio.
Some additional storage may be available in the basement and garage.
The kitchen has no oven. That's right. Our landlord didn't put one in when she remodeled.
The bathroom has two-sinks and full bath/shower.
Basement has washer/dryer.
There is an indoor cat we are currently babysitting, but no other pets please.
Rent is $750 and due on the 15th of the month.
Bills we pay: wireless internet, water/electric, and gas.
Bills vary slightly with the due dates but come to about $70 per month.
Available in mid-November (15th)
There’s a vining grape, jasmine tree, succulent beds and pots on the front patios, and two levels of vegetable & herb garden beds in the back with soaker hoses and an amazing yield of veggies already seeded. If you love gardening, there’s virtually endless opportunity here to jump on the urban gardening train! And of course your plants are welcome.
We are located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac at the base of Mt. Washington, on the eastside. There’s ample street parking, and a stair climb to the house from the street that’s very good daily exercise. At the bottom of the hill are a King Taco, a small grocery store, and the public library. Not far are the 110,5, and 2 freeways with quick access to downtown, Pasadena, Glendale, Silverlake, Los Feliz, and Hollywood. For students, the house is convenient to Art Center, Occidental, CSULA, and USC.
We are looking for someone who’s friendly, drama-free, community-minded, and responsible. Non-smoking preferred but not a deal-breaker, but we only smoke outside the house. Any housing or personal references provided would be great.
We have operated very well as three busy, independent individuals respecting the shared space, cooperating as cool roommates, and doing our own thing, and we're looking for someone who can fit into the flow in the house. Familiarity with Burning Man is a plus but not a requirement.
