Hi!
My name is Ryan, some of you know me as Rif. I teach Kung-Flow staff spinning. If you haven't seen this,
think Kung-fu, a little Jedi, and a touch of Neo from the Matrix. Actually, this is what it looks like. (I love
technology) (Sometimes.).

I'm starting up classes again. I can teach you how to move like a Jedi, and far easier that you would ever
have thought possible. I promise. It's what I do.
Let's also start with this. Classes are donation only. You only pay if you get something of value out of it.
No obligation, zero pressure. The reason why it is this way is because I genuinely want to share the
philosophy with you. It changed my life, and has done the same for others. I would love to get paid,
I do have rent to pay. But I know that money is usually the thing that keeps people home. I don't want
that to get in the way with this. The only thing you stand to lose is an hour of your time. And to be honest,
it's at least weird enough to be entertaining.
The back-story is that I was given a staff but no teacher. In bumbling through the learning process, I
found that the staff was telling me everything I needed to know about my mind. In order to override
a lifetime of negative conditioning, I developed a system of self programming. It worked. In a little less
than two years I became a highly paid performer. I can do things I've never seen anyone else do.
Not trying to be arrogant, just honest.
Just learning how to spin the staff is reason enough to come out. It's super fun. It's so fun in fact, that
it actually gives you energy. This has the interesting side effect of getting you off the couch and spinning
for hours at a time. This has the interesting side effect of toning and shaping your entire body. This has
the interesting side effect of attracting people of the opposite sex to you, which has the interesting side
effect of..... OK, I think you get the picture.
While I'm so not above luring you in with the physical advantages, what I really want to share is the
mental aspect. For the past year I've been honing these concepts as a Counselor at a Drug Rehab in
Malibu. Multiple clients have used this system to help end some major addictions and identify
and overcome dysfunctions. One client used it to physically move a heroin craving out of his body. It's just
that good. Again, I'm not trying to be arrogant. I'm just happiest when I'm helping and I know this way
works for some people. If it can help someone beat Cocaine, it can help anyone with anything.
And if you're reading this, you're either a friend, or a friend of friend, which makes you
my friend. Enough said.
On that note, if the little voice in your head is now saying "I can't go because I'm too un-coordinated",
"I'm too fat" "I'm too tired" "I'll hit myself in the head", you are who I most hope to see. This system
is about making that voice go away.
If you do plan on coming, please bring a staff. I have extras but probably not enough. A five foot
length of dowling is fine, either 7/8 or an inch in diameter. If you want to get all fancy like, put some
washers and a furniture leg end cap on the end. The extra weight will help it spin properly.
Classes are an hour and a half long, low key and very fun. 20 dollars is the usual, but again if you're
tight right now, don't sweat it.
The first class is the most important. We dive into the theory of it. So we're going to have three first
classes.
The first of the firsts will be this Sunday the 16th. There is a day party going on in Woodley park, in
Van Nuys. There will be a big sound system with good beats. We'll do at least one class at 2:30 pm. I
have a feeling we might do another at 4 or so, if there's interest. I'm not sure exactly where, as I
haven't been there before, but I have a feeling we'll be easy to find. Follow the music, then look for the
stick people.
Here's the link to the hosts site for directions and whatnot.

The second first day will be Monday the 17th, at 7:30 pm in North Hollywood. Amelia Earhart park. We'll
be on the westside of tujunga, just north of magnolia, in front of the tennis courts. Bring water.
If enough people can't make Mondays, we can easily do a class on Tuesday night as well. We'll use this
to gauge when the third first day will be. Contact me if you're interested but have a scheduling conflict.
Also, please forward this to anyone you think might be interested. Thank you.
