Sheryl from the shelter called me yesterday. She visited Leona personally to get a first-hand idea of her temperament and to answer my questions about why it had been posted (we don't know by whom) that she needed to be an "only dog". It appears as if that "only dog" label may be inaccurate and misleading. Sheryl says Leona is in the same run with another dog and is absolutely fine with the dog. Leona was also very loving toward Sheryl. There are $300 in donation offered for this lovely dog. Please cross post this widely. Please help her however you can. Her time is up. This much healing love needs to live. See her photos below !! Thank you everyone.

Leona is petite, very pretty staffie girl. She is just a little over 2 years old, full of energy and life. She is way too young to die! As you can see by the pics I took (they are not the best, as she is an active cutie pie), she is a total kissy bug, just wanting her own person to love.
