Hello everyone. I am the Volunteer Coordinator for MECDA’s 2008 Belly Dance Carnival. This year’s Carnival will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 7 & 8, 2008, at Santa Anita Park Racetrack and we are currently seeking Volunteers.
Remember, on the day that you volunteer 2 hours of your time, ADMISSION IS FREE!!!!
Volunteer for 2 hours each day and ADMISSION IS FREE FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND!!!!
Some of the jobs available are:
Admissions
CD/Cassette Tape Runner
Dancer Check in
MECDA HQ/Info/Bag Check
Program Sales
Raffle
Stage Manager (Limited Number)
Vendor Check in
Vendor Helpers
Volunteer Check in
Workshop Monitor
Wristband Checker/Entrance Monitor
You may download the Volunteer application form from the MECDA web site at www.mecda.org/Volunteer08.pdf. After printing and completing the form mail it to:

You may also request to Volunteer by emailing me at MBDCVolunteer411@yahoo.com or CCVolunteers@mecda.org. Requests via email should include ALL information requested on the Volunteer form. After receipt of your application you will receive confirmation of your Volunteer assignment, date, and time.
Please be sure to indicate whether or not you will be performing and if so, include the date & time as well as your troupe/dance name.
For those of you who have already offered to Volunteer, we sincerely thank you and confirmations will be sent to you very soon.
