The new management must be worse than the old. Both Eddie and John have been rude, unresponsive, and deceptive. John just hung up on me twice when I tried to get him to be straight with me on how much longer I could expect and what state my car was currently in...it's been almost 3 weeks (was told should take 3-4 days originally) and I still don't have a diagnosis, my warranty company still hasn't gotten a request for approval for work, and every day they say that they will know something soon, and call me back with something before end of business (never do). I am really worried that my car will be much worse once they are done with it. - Terence , posted 01/02/08 |

I am very sorry to hear that Rona had such a bad experience! However, I took over ownership of Santa Monica AAMCO in December of 2005. Since then, there have been many positive changes. Not only is there a completely new & improved service delivery team, there is a completely new & improved attitude towards the customer. I am very confident that Rona would have much more positive experience with Santa Monica AAMCO today! I took my car in a month ago for transmission repair...they still have my car after 4 weeks..I can't tell you how pissed I am...do yourself a favor and Never go to Aamco for any auto repair. (the story in short:) I took my car to aamco to repair my transmission - they repaired it - it broke down 3 months later - they admitted fault but charged me another $360 on top of that - I spent more than that on a rental - a month later they returned my car. - R O N A , posted 06/16/05 |
