 Bergamot Station Arts Center is a sprawling, mall-sized Santa Monica art complex, featuring dozens of interesting galleries. Bergamot Station is truly one of the best places in LA to go to get your art fix. Once a trolley station, this campus-like, industrial warehouse/art gallery complex in Santa Monica has been successfully transformed into more than 30 galleries, 10 shops and a cafe. You can easily make an afternoon of it, walking a circle around the huge parking lot in and out of the widely ranging galleries & shops, stopping in for a drink at the cafe. Must sees are: The Gallery of Functional Art, Sculpture to Wear, Track 16, Craig Krull Gallery, and Santa Monica Museum of Art.
