OMG, for dino and cactus lovers
You may not think anything authentic, creative or crazy-excellent exists in Reseda Cali, other than The Karate Kid vibe which was over once they finished wrapping that film up back in the day, the 80s I think it even was. Ok anyways this is the point:
You are sorely mistaken!!
Check out what is on the south side of Saticoy, just past Tampa and before Winnetka!!!
The BEST most beloved cactus shop ever!! I even get mushy talking about it! Why? I don't know it's so naturally zen/beautifull/peaceful/right/inspiring and kind of wierd. It will make one love cactus, or it did me. And I was pretty whatever about cactus.
They even sell "cactus coolers" in a vending machine taht seems like you will lose your money in it, but you won't (it's all rickety looking and old). It's only open weekends , and is run by all (or almost all) Spanish-speaking Latinos!! (I think.). I love it! the people who work there seem like they love cactus and know all about it and work in beautifull greenhouses full of steam and beauty and crazy cacti flourishes and is loved all around about --
I am so happy for the cacti-people that they probably have a good job! Hard to come by you know?
I could be wrong but lowkeyness considered, I doubt it. And caring for plants I mean, sweet. For CACTUS, the beloved.
It is so awesome to have a HOME business that seemingly THRIVES in LA. LOS ANGELES, home of sadness, disgusting vanity and waste, and unique as shite belovedness! (Really. )
Anyways I'm freaking out.
You will too though! (Probably) If you don't never talk to me again. Oh also this place has Old Western memorabilia around, alot of it, like a wagon and stuff, and movie phasods (sp) I think? And these BIG like, some kind of metal-cast dinosaurs!!! If you have kids who are into dinos bring them here pronto. They havea huge t-rex, a pterodactyl, stegosaurus, among others. THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFULL.
Love LUV Love <3
