We are erecting native tee-pee’s, a Moroccan tent, a Mayan temple, a hand carved Garua from Bali, a sacred found object temple and many alters of profound intentions to the plants, animals and moons...

On Sunday there will be a kinhin walking peace meditation and a LA River conference on the cultural relations between community, land and water and how the actual LA River Revitalization Master Plan relates to agriculture and farming. Sacred powerful plants will be on interpretative display.

The underground cultural traditions of Northern California explore the international powers of Native cultures as working tools for social transformation and are moving forces into this first GREEN STAGE SHOW. This tribal theater is also a multimedia tour into the work of Derick Ion and the artists collective that inaugurated the Satya Yuga Arts Center in West Oakland last December.

The photography of Derick Ion is actually on display at the Allex Gray’s Microcosm in New York.

The performers are travelers that live and learn the motivations from aboriginal cultures around the world while walking on the transparent walls that divide arts from religion and photography from reality. The title of this first GREEN STAGE SHOW is “Satya Yuga” and the experience goes beyond the borders between cultures, like life may do in California.

Balinese Hindus live by Tri Hita Karana (the 3 paths to Paradise), first is Pawongan, respect for humanity; second is Palemahan, live in harmony; third is Parahyangan, action and reaction (karma).

We are honored to present our craft on Mother Earth (ibupartiwi) Day at the river lands of Yang-na.

Medicine men are gathering for cultivating understanding at a planetary scale.
