If it's electronics it probably exists somewhere in the many aisles of Fry's. Just don't expect any help in finding what you are looking for. While the return policy is generous, you will spend half a day waiting in line to complete the process. Still if you know what you want, or just need to browse the selection you can't beat Fry's. - blank , posted 09/11/04 |

Fry's is a great place to visit and shop. Totally stocked with every possible electronic item you're looking for, it also has amazing prices. Plus, the entire place is decorated out of 50's Sci-Fi movie. Giant ants (a la "Them"), Giant Robots (a la "The Day The Earth Stood Still") and aliens all populate the inside of the store. . .the outside shows that a giant flying saucer has clearly crashed into the building. Even if you don't need any electronics, it's worth a visit for the atmosphere. However, it is infamous for having the worst lines ever. . . but since the lines are so bad, the mile long "impulse item" selection is very entertaining. - Sarah , posted 09/02/04 |
