Hot Java is definitly my favorite coffee house in Long Beach, and yes Ive beeen to most of them her on the southside of town! Good people, good conversation, goooooooooooooood times. Love the staff, but as with everthing we have a total new crew her so that why no five (yet) I don't know ya'll. But, hey I still have my Dougie!!!!!!!! THANX DOUG FOR BEING YOU! HOT JAVA "the community coffee house" I am putting this place on my list for a few reasons. The first being it is close to my house. Second, I met this really cool guy there, he cracks me up. In fact, he was the first person that even spoke to me here. Third, the internet connection is cool-it tends to go out at night. The most of the staff is friendly. The music can get a bit LOUD at times, but hey bring your head phones with you and tune it out. You may have ask to have the air shut off or at the very least turned down, it get cold in there at night. or bring your winter coat. They have some cool places to sit-soft sofas and arm chairs- and the flat screen TV plays movies on Friday nights. So if you dont have a date, you can at least get out the house and see a movie. I would like to give this place a better rating, but I am a hard cookie. I guess as a business owner, I always try to set myself apart for the pack, so people know why they have come to me. Great service, Great food, Awesome crew, kick butt unequaled events. I guess I really like this place because of David, the internet connection.
