Huge Regional Park in OC
Irvine Regional Park is wonderful! This is a 477 acre park that houses the OC Zoo, the Irvine Park Railroad, a bandstand, and a lake. There's a four mile equestrian trail that skirts the perimeter of the central park providing scenic views of the park and it's natural scenery.

This is a great location for family bbqs and get togethers.

My friends and I visit this park every couple of months and spend the day.

There is an entrance fee to this park. It changes per season and type of vehicle, so you may wish to call ahead.

They have a few strict rules about a number of items for safety reasons, such as fires. However they do allow bbqing and such in approved camp stoves.

The park depends on visitors to protect all wildlife, vegetation, features, and improvements. - MistressPrime , posted 09/10/04
