Referred by a long-time friend who said, "He kept my old Volvo running long after I should have given it a decent burial." So I went to him when I began hearing strange noises; not only did he identify the noises and tell me what I needed, he did NOT charge me for all kinds of vague "services." The next time I went I knew I was having cooling system problems; his response was to put in a new radiator cap, tell me to run around town with it for a few days, and if it didn't solve the problem come back and tell him!!  This place did a great job repairing my Honda. They're fair, won't do unnecessary work, and made good recommendations to me. Also, they're walking distance from lots of good hangout places on Hillhurst or Vermont. There's always a waiting list, though, so make your appointment a week in advance. - Max , posted 08/31/04 |
