I have personally experienced multiple bridal gown purchases form this store having had 2 of my good friends, one cousin and myself all bought our wedding dresses from jobynas. jobynas is the one stop shop for everything. the ladies that work there know exactly what they are talking about and they have never let any one of us down. they have a huge variety of bridesmaids dresses and really worked hard to get the image i had in my mind to reality. i bought everything from there. Jewlery, shoes, tiara, veil(the most beautiful lace veil i have ever seen)tuxedos, and flower girls. my wedding turned out amazing and not only was it because of jobynas doing a great job with their service and their help but the seamstress ladies are also so great at what they do and they are extremely talented. If you are a bride and are looking for good service go to JOBYNAS!! a few good tips: make sure you make an appointment so one of their consultant can dedicate their one on one time to you. another good tip is to maybe go on a week day. the weekends get crazy in there and super busy. I used to request to have the room to myself on a weekday of course and they were kind enough to block an hour or so out for me. if u think the service is bad here you have lost you mind. try the other salons in the area and that will show you what BAD is!!! I actually really enjoyed the ladies who worked with me at Jobynas. They were very friendly, non-confrontational, and I didn't feel pushed towards purchasing a gown. I have no idea what you ladies are talking about.Jobyenas Bridal is one of the only bridal salons out there that actually puts the bride first. I have never recieved better service, kind associates and people who were willing to cooperate with my unique needs. If I've ever had an issue with something they have helped me through it and done everything to solve the problem and make me, the bride, happy and satisfied.l I truly belive that you ladies are bridzillas and being so demanding gets you in the hole. - Diana , posted 07/25/07 |

I bought my veil, dress and tiara from Jobyna's and spent a pretty penny in total. I thought I was getting the dress at at discount as I bought it "off the rack" but they got me on the back end through the veil. It turns out that I was charged over 2X what the veil sells for at about 10 locations that I found just spending an hour looking through the internet. When I confronted them they said there was nothing they could do and that they were just "covering their cost". That was lie #1, then they tried to say they did not know the retailer "House of Brides" (only one of the largest distributors of bridal attire), lie #2 and the beginning of many more. Then thankfully (I guess) after giving up about being overcharged I had my Mom take the veil out of the bag to take pictures of the lace for the cake design and she noticed a tear at the bottom of the veil...like a heal tear! So it looks like I got a used veil to boot! So I came into the shop to see if they could order me a replacement veil and they claimed that once the veil left their shop they could not be responsible for it, that the veils are inspected at the manufacturer and why did I not check the veil when I picked it up. Why would I check if the veil was supposed to be packed and shipped from the manufacturer already inspected for quality? Addtionally, I did not want to get it dirty. I assumed when given that quality assurance by the shop that they would stand by it, but obviously that is a big NO! Long story short, they would not replace the veil and basically accused me of ripping the veil on purpose. All and all, great selection of gowns but if you go, do your research beforehand and DO NOT BUY YOUR VEIL THERE!!!! - Sarah , posted 06/25/07 |

Jobyna's service is TERRIBLE!! They ordered the wrong wedding gown for me and although they admitted that it was not the right gown, they would not reimburse me for the cost! I was forced to keep the gown, which was over $4000!! The owner would not assist me or return my calls, although she had been readily available to make the sale! How can I express how rudly we were treated at Jobyna's Bridal. We actually went in to purchase "The Dress" that my daughter wanted for her wedding, it was not a cheap dress, we were looking at spending over $3,000.00. But after getting the cold shoulder, sneers and heavy sighs, because we arrived without the an appointment, my daughter was ushered in to try on the dress and was told not to get makeup on it since it was brand new, yea she had only tried it on previously 2 months ago, and how many other brides have been in it, we can never know. She still felt that "This was the dress", but was actually pushed by the salesgirl because she wasn't moving fast enough. We were in the store 15 minutes. And walked out without purchasing the dress. We have since located a Salon in Costa Mesa who really wants to work with us, they can't wait for us to come in and will order the dress specially for my daughter.
