Jomag is great!
I have gone to Jomag ever since the 2yr warranty expired at the dealership in Glendale. The labor rate is very fair, and they work fast. I continued to use them even after moving to N. Calif. I cannot recommend them enough!!! - Cristina , posted 02/05/08

great service
Did that other guy actually say " i couldn't remember ever forgetting to put it back on"? Maybe with newer volkswagens the service is different, but with my 72 squareback I've had nothing but awesome experiences every time i go there. I've been to Jomag maybe about 10 times in the 6 years that I've had the car and honestly two of those times he only charged me 20 bucks for labor (even though he did a lot of work). His prices are very reasonable and he's very honest about what work is really needed. He also has a network of southland vw junkies that have used or nos parts for low prices. Oh and his turnaround time is usually very quick. - dan , posted 05/17/07

Jomag is Dishonest -- Don't Use Them
Note: Since listings are displayed according to rating (5 stars are at the top of the list; 1 stars are at the bottom) I gave this place 5 stars, only so the listing would be displayed at the top of the list and more people would see it. Please be advised: They do not deserve a 5 star rating -- they're crooks!!!

Please, do not use Jomag for your VW repair. I used to work around the corner from them, and took my '97 VW Jetta GLS there a couple of times when it needed work. I didn't find out what crooks they are until later, when a friend who knows a lot about cars looked at the work they did. He told me they used bad, used parts but billed me for new parts, and even that some of the parts they installed were done incorrectly. I remember once, the owner told me that I was missing the cap to my gas tank, and if I knew that it was missing. I told him no, I wasn't aware of that (I couldn't remember ever forgetting to put it back on). So he said he had one to sell me for $25, and I bought it. What was I gonna do? I couldn't prove he stole it, and at the time I trusted them and really believed I must have forgotten to put it back on.
And get this, I worked for a cosmetic company, and even gave the owner lots of free product for his wife. He lied to me even after I gave him a gift to give to his wife.
There is a place in hell for people like Jomag. - Peter , posted 09/18/06
