Wearing flowers in your hair began as an island tradition in Hawaii. Jonesie is owned and operated by Angie Jones. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Angie graduated art school at Atlanta College of Art where she studied artists like Matisse and Georgia O'Keeffe, whose floral interpretations influenced her own work heavily. Her love for everything retro, pinup and glamorous led her to make these floral barrettes for herself. Soon, women were stopping her on the street, in restaurants, in clubs asking where they can get one. She decided to offer her floral clip designs online here at jonesiecake.com. Everything on this site is one-of-a-kind and hand made to order. Angie scours the Los Angles Flower District for the most interesting and high quality silk flowers to make these one of a kind beauties.
