Transposed from paper journal after 4 Lai Lani Volcanos:
Transposed from my paper journal after drinking 4 lai lani volcanos*:

The Lucky Tiki - What city am I in, I don't even know, somewhere off the 118. The place is only about 3 months old and it kinda lacks the requisite skunge factor that most tiki bars have acquired (Bahooka's anyone?). But what it lacks in skunge it makes up for in decor. This isn't some little neighborhood bar that somebody hung a shellacked blowfish off the Budweiser sign and tacked a grass skirt on the wall. No, No... this is all tiki (make sure to check out the tiki barstools), with the exception of the gentleman's necessarium, and the music. Much to the apparent dismay of one of the (rather vocal) locals. An apparent regular, who by his own admission, "spends mad money," in that place "yo!" who complained to anybody who would listen that he couldn't download metallica to the juke. But apparently they had Martin Denny and other surf style music on it... but nobody was playing it. We happened to hit it on 80s night. But otherwise a great place, where the drinks were strong and sweet (see below) and the barkeep (Tim) is a jovial smart-ass, with a voice somewhere between Harvey Fierstein and Tom Waits, who will f*ck with the drunk or the unwary. So be wary and keep a real close eye on your fritos.

*Lai Lani Volcanos (I need to work out the mixology for this):
Cocoanut Rum
Guava Nectar
Rock Candy Syrup
Lime Juice
Pineapple Juice - I. M. , posted 03/25/05
