MM06 is the only real rave I go to every year, and this one was just about average. I'm not usually into PvD, so, I wasn't let down by his set, but Armin and Judge Jules rocked the place. This was the biggest crowd I've seen there since I started attending in 03. It sucked that all of my group's glowsticks got taken at the VIP pat down, and I lost my yard stick too (I was my schoolgirl gf's teacher ^^). I heard that they were just letting peopl walk in later... It's getting way too big for it's own good, but hey, that's why they call it a massive... I went with good people, and met some people I haven't seen in a few months, so all in all I had a great time. I hope MM07 is way better in terms of Go Ventures' security staff, or it will prolly be my last trip out. Almost forgot that they don't allow you to take in digital cameras, which really sucks if you take a cab from your hotel, and have to return it before they let u in. - Josh , posted 10/31/06 |

Moster Massive was a gigantic corrporate mess. I left at 9pm to get there, figuring that it was lasting to 4:30 am so leaving a little late would probably mean would get there just as it was starting up, besides I left last year a 11:00 and still got there in time to have a blast. We sat in traffic for an hour and a half, it was so packed in we couldnt move to dance, and even though my friends paid for a VIP pass, not only could you just walk in anyway, but they stopped selling drinks by the time we went in there. But I shouldve guessed it would be that way considering the first thing I noticed on the dance floor was a huge starbucks banner hanging from the ceiling, and all I could think was how I went to the SD decom not two weeks ago, pain 20 dollars less, for an entire weekend, and this just felt like being cheated out of my money. never again! - Le*Shnick , posted 10/30/06 |
