Parallel Letter - January 2006, the newsletter for indie singer/songwriter Nijole Sparkis I hope you had a wonderful holiday celebration and ushered in the New Year joyfully! I have some exciting news to share: • 2006 has turned out to be the year my music enjoyed a proper radio debut -- on one of Los Angeles's largest radio stations, 95.5 KLOS-FM! Last Wednesday, Jan. 11th, two of my songs were played on legendary DJ Jim Ladd's one-hour mind-expanding commercial-free show called "Headsets", where I was the only unsigned artist played among such legends as Robert Plant, Bruce Springsteen, and the Rolling Stones. If you're in the LA area, and are awake between midnight and 1:00 AM on a Wednesday night, tune into 95.5 FM, as Jim said he'd play my music on "Headsets" again.
