Peet's does great coffee, mocha that actually tastes like mocha rather than sweet chocolate milk, and their blended drinks are excellent as well. They don't make their drinks very sweet, but you can always add sugar or honey if you want. Also try their coffee beans, which can be found in stores of taste and distinction - the French Roast is a major contributor to my daily happiness. - Dr. Ivo , posted 09/30/04 |

Peet's is a very "San Francisco" establishment. Or should I say 'anti-establishment', as every Starbucks-loathing San Franciscan who admonishes the megacorporation that is Starbucks, is drinking or will drink a cup of Peet's. There is a very fine line between coffee that is so strong it makes you super sick, and coffee so strong it makes you a super-hero. And by golly, Peet's really knows how to walk that tightrope. Many coffeehouses try to copy Peet's by making really really strong coffee. But nobody gets it quite as right as Peet's. - Sandi , posted 09/04/04 |
