My normal mechanic has decided he's going to be closed on Saturdays. Which is really unacceptable to me because I work Mon. - Fri. Anyway, I got online yesterday to see if there were any recommendation here on The Tribe. Well, John's shop was highly recommened so I gave it a shot. He was wonderful! He figured out what was wrong with my car and it was actually a silly little thing. He didn't charge me a dime! My old mechanic totally would have. As people were coming and going, you could tell how much he cared about them and they cared about him. I heard someone ask about his daughters being hom from college and I just knew he was a really honest guy. He's in West L.A. and he will now be my new mechanic. - Nanci , posted 06/18/06 |

If you need your clutch checked out, your brakes are squeakin' or you hear a funky sound under your hood and have been wondering...head to Piechowski's (pronounced "pee-yow-ski's"). Speak with John or Tanis -- they are wonderful... completely legitimate folks who will neither charge you for a diagonostic nor suggest you get unnecessary work done nor gouge you with exorbitant prices (even if you're a girl who knows nada about vehicles).
