Real Food also has locations in West LA that are just as good. Nice big meal selection. It's strange though, there's always something that get's me weirded out, like a super sketch customer or overly nice yet unhappy server. I'm more at ease at Native Foods. - bert , posted 10/26/07 |

I went there today to get my grub on. I got the most amazing potato salad ever and a burger with everything on it. The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly. The only downsides- there can be a long wait, the parking's a bit tricky, and the food is on the pricier side. - joycesu , posted 09/03/07 |

RFD serves some of the best tempeh I've ever had. They've got a nice variety of interesting and delicious dressings as well. My favorite is the Basic 3 where I can mix and match different sides like quinoa and millet, sea veggies, and tempeh. - Astraea , posted 11/27/06 |

I love this food. The La Cienega location has a little bit more upscale vibe than the Santa Monica vibe, but both have the wonderful food and vegan desserts to die for. Yum! - Deb , posted 10/09/06 |

I love their food. It energizes and centers my body knowing I'm feeding it healthy, flavorful and organic food. One of my favorite place in LA to eat. - Unsubscribed , posted 09/24/06 |

Pretentious, vegan and boring. I really hate this place. It really says everything about LA restaurants there is to be said. - Scott , posted 07/31/06 |

Absolutely splendid. Fabulous for even the staunchest meat-eater, this place has something to please everyone and anyone. But for veggies it's pure heaven! - strangekat , posted 06/24/06 |

Real Food Daily is nice that unlike a lot of vegan restaurants in that you actually get a pleasant dining atmosphere and nice friendly table service. The menu is great, it might be on the upper end but it could make a vegan proud. - Paul , posted 06/08/06 |

Only been to the Santa Monica location. Great place to get chow for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The combination of cornbread + tahini miso spread is to die for! Convenient place to get juice when I was on a juice fast. Noise level can be high when it's crowded, especially at dinnertime -- the tables are situated rather close to each other. Service can be slow when it's busy. - zhen~nehz , posted 01/05/06 |

My parents, visiting from a small midwestern town in Iowa, enjoyed the food A LOT! I was even amazed. I try to eat here when I make it out west of the 405... Also check out the Beverly location on the weekends for their brunch menu. - j3r3my. , posted 06/07/05 |

Some of the best vegan food in LA. Not priced as inexpensively as some others- like Vegan Express-, but still a great place to go. Great burritos. - Harimander , posted 06/06/05 |

It's where I go when all other food goes astray. I love it! Especially since my family does no dairy and no gluten these days. So hard to find a good restaurant that caters to those kinds of needs! - Heather Moon , posted 02/21/05 |

Hey..it's not bad - the Santa Monica Location for some odd reason is better than the La Cienaga one (quality wise) - although it's overall diversity in choices leaves something to be desired. - Organic , posted 02/18/05 |

If you don't know it already, this is the spot, folks. 3 of them, actually. Locations in SM, WeHO, and the newest in Beverly Hills even serves organic sake...YUM. A wide range of vegan dishes, carefully prepared with balanced nutrition and outstanding taste in mind. My fave: salisbury seitan with mashed potatoes and gravy. It's crazy delicious. Not a vegetarian? You'll be amazed at how the meat products are not to be missed... - atom , posted 11/03/04 |

This rest. has a lot of interest options for vegetarians, but they are never as good as they taste. Can be a bit expensive. Very creative though. - Zipporah , posted 10/29/04 |

Crowded during lunch/dinner hour, as one of the best known and highest quality vegan restaurants in LA. Celebrities frequent it, and it's between a yoga studio and a spiritual book store that are indicative of some of the clientele. The food and specials are insanely good, especially the fake cheese, and tremendously good for you - Olga , posted 09/02/04 |

REAL FOOD DAILY, is a great organic, vegan restaurant. Inexpensive, clean, friendly. The food is organic and wholesome. Portobello sandwich is highly recommended, as is the yin yang salad, homemade cornbread, and zen macrobiotic dinner. Some desserts are wheat-free, ALL are made without butter or eggs or dairy of any kind. IDEAL FOR VEGETARIANS OR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES. - julie , posted 08/30/04 |
