I went to Rudy's in Silverlake with a friend yesterday, thinking that I'll just get a little trim before the Burn ... both of us were practically in tears afterwards. The chick who did my hair hacked at my locks at random. It was unbelievably bad. I seriously could have done a better job with my kitty's nailclippers. Rudy's blows ... I drove straight to my hairstylist afterwards to get it fixed. If you want rawkstar hair, go to Bogart at Lush Salon in Beverly Hills. I swear I will never stray again. - Naz , posted 08/26/06 |

But...be prepared for the long ass wait and possibly snippy service from the skinny heepster behind the counter taking down names. The stylists on the most part are friendly and never rush through a hair cut. - Sherrie , posted 07/25/05 |

Rudy's is great. I've been to several of the stylists there and they were all on beyond fabulous. Prices are unbelievable: buzz cut $19, short hair $21, long hair $26, color $60 and up (I do my own color and feel empowered by doing so ...). Even though lotsa punked out rockers go there, they also can do conservative type stuff too. Anyway, I give them 5 stars. - Laurel Ann , posted 05/11/05 |
