This used to be an excellent yoga studio. Now it is a core fusion studio that offers yoga classes. There are still a few outstanding teachers. If you take one of their classes, call ahead and make sure that they do not have a substitute that day! - Valerie , posted 06/17/06 |

Sacred Movement has nice facilities, excellent teachers and a cool attending populace...no anorexic/competitive actress types here! Just a solid student mass of healthy, fit and friendly folks looking to improve their mental, physical and spiritual well being. I bought some classes at this studio. I was not impressed. It seemed overcrowded with little or no feedback on people's form. When they do headstands people use the wall to support themselves as no one has ever taken the time to teach them the safe, simple way to properly do the asana. I prefer spiritual based yoga this place has more of a 1980's aerobics fad sell you crap kind of vibe. - martin , posted 09/20/04 |
