I've practiced yoga for about 6 years now and I've found it difficult to find a studio with class times that fit my schedule, teachers I really like, and hatha that doesn't seem like the same drill over and over. But I LOVE this studio and Jonathan (the owner) in particular, is a wonderful teacher. I'm not a morning person, but I get up for HIS 9:15 classes twice a week. It's a beautiful space, with a variety of classes and teachers, everyday, all day. It's a chill, neighborhood studio with nice local Silver Lake yoga-ists of all ages. I leave feeling awake, healthy, peaceful and ready to "go out into the world and share that peace with someone else" as Jonathan would say. Great little neighbourhood yoga studio... non-pretentious and mellow vibe, and mostly Hatha-style. I loved their prenatal classes, especially Juliette's (she's one of the owners)--I worked my booty off! Jill also teaches Prenatal, if you want more of a mellow class. - Siobhan , posted 09/10/04 |
