Good resource, over-hyped
A Buddhist proverb: "If you meet the Buddha on the highway, kill him." In other words, don't let anyone sell you easy tickets to enlightenment, and do the work for you.
That's mostly what's for sale at this spirituality specialty store, which would be a great resource were it not so misused. They do have a great selection of uncommon texts, which is nice if you're willing to pay the higher prices to subsidize their Melrose rent. Otherwise, stick to online book retailers, where these same texts can be found at lower cost.
If you want enlightenment or spirituality, seek out mentors to guide you on your own spiritual path: not a cashier at the Bodhi Tree to recommend the "best" book on Kabbalah.
