Wow it got big!
I use to hate Hotel Cafe because it was about the size of a closet and they only served beer and wine. After the renovation they've expanded the club and adding a full bar! The sound is waaay better too! The only downside is the pricey drinks. Other than that you'll have a good time. - Unsubscribed , posted 05/10/06

Is it hot in herre?
Yeah, it can get warmer than a mofo in this tiny joint where the majority of the acts are folks who answer to the title SINGER SONGWRITER. Don't expect to sit down if you're coming in late to a show. - Sherrie , posted 06/16/05

Teeny little cool-ass club off Hollywood Blvd.
Up close and personal at this place. Little stage surrounded by tables and chairs and a small bar in back. The back room is nice for hanging out and taking a break from the music. Good bands most of the time, and the super casual, funky vibe provides a nice respite from the jacked-up club scene on Hollywood. - Dana , posted 09/01/04

Wonderful Live Music, cool bar
If you've ever heard of Charlotte Martin... you know that she got her start at the Hotel Cafe. so did many other famous acts out today. The Hotel Cafe is a breeding ground for talent and amazing performers who will leave you in awe. it's incredible that such a small bar can pack in so many people. and it's definitely one of 'those' places in l.a. that seems to be hidden, so that only the cool people know where it is. go and find it. - may-may , posted 08/27/04
