 I was highly annoyed when we got there when the show was supposed to start, and had some appetisers simply to patronize the venue, even though we'd already had dinner, and were bored out of our minds watching what turned out to be the "opener" - which was simply a guy mixing music (who we couldn't even watch because he was way to the back of the venue, and in the opposite direction of the to-be-mentioned screen) and a screen with shadows of people essentially stripping (which seemed apropo, since the music was just what you would hear in a strip club.) I thought that it was just the thing that the place did for ambience before the preformers went on, and my fiance and I kept waiting and waiting for SOMETHING to happen. Finally, at about 11pm (time time we were hoping to be DONE, since had had to hire a babysitter for our child, and it was supposed to start at 8pm) the band members started to assemble on stage. We went at the recommendation of my bellydance teacher because there is a girl who does tribal bellydance as part of the show, and definately once Mutaytor got on stage it was a lot of fun to watch. But I think they should pick better "openers" becuase this guys sucked ass big time - Unsubscribed , posted 11/22/06 |
