Best Fire Tool Manufacturer I Have Seen Yet... HANDS DOWN
I have to say... I hate plugging.... I don't do it, and i get annoyed when i see people do it.
But then again, i cannot let it go unreciprocated when the following happens:
A man walks up to me at a party, introduces himself, and says "I hear you're a good staffer... Maybe you'd like to check out our breakdown staff". Shows me a 3 peice breakdown staff that is solid as a rock, with really really really nice parts made in a machine shop. I try it out.... Love it.....
It's mine. I didn't ask for it.... I didnt say anything. Jazz, the guy who makes these, says... "It's yours.... Play with it. Tell me what you think. If somebody asks where you got it, tell them where you got it."
First off, I am thinking that i was just given what had to be a 120-150 dollar staff, considering the high prices most manufacturers charge for breakdown staves that don't come close to how bad ass this staff is. He tells me that its 95 bucks.
I checked out their website. Their designs are pretty damn cool. I'm not a poi spinner so i cannot speak for their chained items. Loved the fans. Really simple, yet beatutiful ideas. Love the lay out.
Also love the fire mop. Not even so much for performance, but for the possibility of using it to clean up after fire breathers, as my friend Lou pointed out the other night.
I like seeing manufacturers really reach out to their community. They appear to be sponsoring a few contests like fire photo competitions, and some other really cool things, and it reminds me alot of how instrument companies treat musicians. They create a relationship that doesn't have to be all business.
I am impressed, guys.... very impressed
Again. Thank you so much Trick Concepts.
