Decent place to grab some food and a pint
The bar can get packed but the fish and chips are pretty good. If you like karaoke then you probably would like Sunday nights there (and if you're lucky you can see the local legend named Bishop perform) but if you are like me and don't like listening to drunk people make a mockery of otherwise good art then you would do well to avoid that night. - Will , posted 12/17/06

Great place, excellent staff
Excellent little British place, specialising in the famous fish and chips. Ideal for a hungry man. The waitresses all have funny accents, but there is a very pretty girl working there called Bev who is the Hostess with the Mostess. Say hi to her when you go, shes a real gem! - Simon , posted 12/30/04

For the Brit in all of us...
The food is good, the drinks better and located just a block off the beach, it?s a great place to meet up with friends, then head down for a late night walk on the pier. Check out the gift shop too for all your favorite imported British goodies (included canned haggis. Really) - Unsubscribed , posted 11/02/04

Best curry and chips in California!
They have the best curry and chips in Southern California, although you have to ask for chips with the chicken curry because they normally serve it with rice for yanks. The fish and chips is also excellent and the atmosphere is as authentic as one gets in this part of the world. I ate alot of curry, chips, fish, and other delicacies while living in London and this is the closest I get to it now. It gets a big thumbs-up from my Brit husband as well. - Alana , posted 08/31/04

Celebrating New Years? Soccer Fan? . . .Come here!
A restaurant, pub, and store. You know you?ve found the right place when the person you?re sitting next to is a Brit! Come here to drink a pint for the New Year (they celebrate at 4pm - England time!), St. Patty?s Day, or enjoy a soccer game. The pub is packed during special events like this, so make sure to come early and save a spot for you and your friends. - Unsubscribed , posted 08/27/04
