$11.00 during the week and $14.00 on weekends may be a little much for some people, but there are no lines and no hassels. All the seats are reserved and you can pick your location. Its become the Theatre of the Stars because that's where they go to see films. They come in during the previews. If there is an empty seat nest to you that gets filled during the previews it just might be Jake or Drew or Jason. Coacktails are permitted at designated Over 21 screenings. The stadium seats are comfortable and the crowd hip and trendy. I really love that I can leave the house 1/2 before show time, drive about a mile, park, and get into my seat by the time the film starts. No long lines waiting for the right seat. If they don't have a seat location that I like, I simply pick another show from their selection of about 14 screens. - Unsubscribed , posted 08/24/05 |
 $14 for a movie? So I can drink a beer in the lobby? And be 'assigned' a seat? And I can listen to some film school student from across the street tell me about the movie? If they dropped the price I'd go there more often. But even the idea that 'people talk way less at the Arclight' isn't enough for me to fork over that much scratch. - Sherrie , posted 06/21/05 |
