read street signs...with a LED flashlite that fits in your pocket or purse...
Often i am driving around in the dark looking for an address or street sign for a party I am tracking, but unlike owls, i do not see that well in the dark, how about you? I have bought numerous flashlights, but most do not work too well. Generally they just do not put out enough light to be usefull or it does,
but the batteries die quick, or are dead when you need it. The new white LED flashlights do not put out enough light to be useful...but the batteries last a long time.

The flashlight I am recommending is the best I have seen so far. It is phyically small, but not too small. Fits nicely in the hand, is easy to turn on with nails (ladies), and fits inside a purse without crowding it or in guys back pocket. The flashlight rides with me in the center console of my SUV. I admit it is pricey, unlike
old-technology incadescent flashlights, which needs 3 to 4 bulky batteries to lightup for 15 minutes to put a so-so yellowish beam and batteries die quick...this new LED flashlight is actually modern technology. Its light comes from a quantum well oscillator, a crystal. It is a crystal that emits a high energy blue emission which 'pumps' (don't get excited) a blue sensitive CIE 'tuned' white phospher gel.

This flashlight emits a strong white beam that can be seen for blocks and the batteries last a long time.. its worth the money to have a flash that works well, when I need it.
